Don’t get me wrong, my eyes were glued to many a show coming from Milan, Sao Paulo, and Paris this season but for me street style is what I’m always waiting for. Looking for a new pair of sunglasses is a much harder task then I anticipated. I’ve been fawning over two pairs of Rebecca Minkoff sunnies for weeks now, but there are so many other options out there. I can’t get over pair number six, don’t they look like Angry Birds eyebrows? Anyway, if you’re on the hunt for new sunglasses this was a great start for me. Plus, a couple of pairs are $9.99 so you can’t really go wrong!
I’ve been pretty unpleasantly surprised by the weather here in NYC this week. Since I spent the majority of the weekend sifting through my summer clothes and officially putting away the winter, you could imagine my disdain waking up shivering this morning. I bet a lot of you are having the same problem as I am. I’m happy that I kept some warmer items just in case I encountered a chilly summer evening where I would be spending time outside. Hope you guys had a good weekend! You’re going to have to give me a small break during the month of May. From the 15th to the 25th we are in market with buyers from our distributor’s companies. My accounts from Australia, Indonesia, and Malaysia will be coming to look at the new line which means I’ll either be at work or showing them around NYC. Before that, I’ll be working my butt off prepping for appointments! Either way, I’ll do my best to keep pinning and get some stuff onto the blog whenever possible, I promise.

I bought one for Andrew for his birthday last weekend, and after spending a few hours on it I knew I had to hop aboard the train. I use that metaphor because this is day three and it has made my commuting life, on the train, so much easier. I can dedicate more time to Glitter & Gold and that’s always a good thing! I’ve officially embraced being a shopoholic. Today marks the day I decided I don’t have nearly enough accessories. I started searching online and sure enough I now absolutely need these four items (I am fully aware that number 4 is so beyond my reach its laughable, but Forever 21 has a fantastic $10 option). Obsessing!
Now that Thanksgiving is over, we can take down the fall decorations and start thinking about December. December means that I drink obscene amounts of hot chocolate and go ice skating as many times as possible. In my world, winter is the perfect time to “live colorfully”. I always talk about how I shy away from color in my wardrobe, but in the winter I long for a little something extra to brighten up my day.
