Apartment Therapy
July 13, 2012

Happy Friday! Our new apartment is the only thing that has been on my mind lately. It’s only a week until move in! I stumbled upon Plan Your Room and have been building our plan-o-gram ever since. It’s such a great resource and allows you to see exactly how your furniture, or potential furniture, will fit in your room. Since building the plan and buying quite a bit of furniture and accessories, I started making these inspiration boards for each room. A little inspiration can go a long way when moving! You’ve already seen my living room inspiration here and here, so now it’s time to focus on the bedroom and bathroom.

Pop Of Pink
April 24, 2012

I don’t know if it’s because of my time at Juicy Couture, but I love pops of pink in home decor. I almost never wear pink, but I like to inject it into pillows, rugs, couches (if done right) and chairs. It’s a way to add just a little bit of a girly touch to a room. To me, a pop of pink looks best with white or grey accents. I wouldn’t mix too many bright colors together, but when researching I found some amazing multi colored rooms that were absolutely gorgeous. These though, are so my style.

Brick City
February 7, 2012

The next place I live in will have exposed brick even if I have to lay it myself (seriously, don’t put it past me). I just love the look it gives to a home or apartment, orrrrr a loft. Can I have a loft with one obnoxiously large exposed brick wall, please? Oh and then I can decorate the loft in all white, black, and gray like this post from yesterday!

Also, Every time I watch House Hunters (which is everyday for approx 2-3 hours) it seems like all of the exposed brick is in Chicago. Maybe I have to move to ensure there’s a proper brick wall in my dwelling place.

Inspired: “White Out”
October 26, 2011

I have a love for all white rooms, remember this? So I just had to make an inspiration board. It’s just so clean and simple. Plus, fashion wise you can wear it all year round (get rid of that no white after Labor Day rule). I don’t think there’s anything better then a white sweater, a white leather chair, and white flowers at a winter wedding.
