Okay guys, it’s the 20th. If the world ends tomorrow I’m going to be pretty upset about not fitting that skydiving trip in. Anyway, I figured we should discuss what we should be wearing if the world does end. I’m not sure what exactly is supposed to happen, but hopefully we will know a couple of minutes in advance so I can do a quick change (because that’s what really matters, huh).

I’ve been blown away by all of the print in this years Spring 2013 collections so far. There are definitely stand out designers that pushed the limits and made some gorgeous pieces that will surely be on all of our must have lists. Maybe it’s the cutie son of hers or that she made this “Call Me Maybe” video, but Rebecca Minkoff really can do no wrong in my eyes. Spring 2013 obviously didn’t disappoint. I love the fresh, easy silhouettes paired with a more complex pattern throughout. This first look is killer.

Can’t believe it’s almost July already, my birthday is on Tuesday! I love that my birthday is the 3rd of July. It means that I will always have off the day after if it falls during the week. If I was having a birthday party, this is what I would do. For some reason I’m really feeling pink today. I won’t be having one this year, but maybe next year I’ll pull out all the stops!

I realized a lot of things furniture shopping this weekend, but the one thing that stood out in my mind the most was that I love everything tufted… and I mean everything. Specifically, I find myself being drawn to tufted headboards. When I came home and took a look at my Pinterest, I noticed that there were tufted headboards all over the place. Apparently I knew I liked it long before I actually realized that I should be purchasing one ASAP. Check out my favorite headboards, they will definitely be a part of my inspiration board when I head back out again.

I don’t typically wear shorts, even on the hottest of days. I have a feeling that this summer is going to be an exceptionally hot one though, as shown by this past weekends 90 degree Sunday. I took the plunge and ordered a pair of these boyfriend shorts from Gap, the neon pink pair to be exact. Funny thing was, my Mom also saw them online and bought me two pairs on the same day without knowing I had ordered the originals… love her! It was a good thing I liked them because now I couldn’t be more excited to have three pairs at the ready. They are not only the perfect length but the most comfortable shorts I’ve ever worn. Check out just a few of my favorite colors. The white ones will be mine very, very soon as well!

Do you have that song stuck in your head too? I met with a client of mine a couple of weeks ago and he mentioned that his visual merchandising manager always matches his iPhone case to his outfit, every day. Between that comment and Catherine of The Life Styled always telling me that “she (her phone) is wearing sequins tonight”, it made me realize my very cute single leopard case just is not cutting it anymore. So where do you begin when building a wardrobe for your phone? J. Crew of course. Talk about tons of great options!

I’ve been obsessing, just a little, over floral halos on brides. Maybe it’s because I remember begging my parents to buy me one at the renaissance faire so that I could be a princess, or maybe it’s because I’m just obsessed with “bohemian” weddings. Remember on Friday when I mentioned that Monday started market week? Well, I spent a lot of time yesterday working on putting together outfits. Here are my concepts for outfits for the week. Obviously, these will all be adapted to my wardrobe, but here is the jist of what I’ll be wearing this week. My accounts from Australia, Indonesia, and Thailand will be in the office this week to preview the Fall 2012 line. Exciting stuff!

Hope you guys had a good weekend! You’re going to have to give me a small break during the month of May. From the 15th to the 25th we are in market with buyers from our distributor’s companies. My accounts from Australia, Indonesia, and Malaysia will be coming to look at the new line which means I’ll either be at work or showing them around NYC. Before that, I’ll be working my butt off prepping for appointments! Either way, I’ll do my best to keep pinning and get some stuff onto the blog whenever possible, I promise.

Do you ever just want to have a party? I woke up this morning in the mood to entertain. Sometimes, I just get the fever! At this point, I don’t even care who it’s for… I would throw a strangers birthday party if they let me plan it from start to finish. You can be sure there will be plenty of desserts and drinks, big balloons, and lots and lots of streamers.
