Happy Friday! Hope you all had a fantastic week. I finally got an iPad! I bought one for Andrew for his birthday last weekend, and after spending a few hours on it I knew I had to hop aboard the train. I use that metaphor because this is day three and it has made my commuting life, on the train, so much easier. I can dedicate more time to Glitter & Gold and that’s always a good thing! Do you have any big plans for the weekend? I’m excited that the forecast shows the weather holding out so we can all enjoy a little sun, and warmth of course. Here are my favorite looks of the week.

Oh my gosh, this collection blew my mind. Gorgeous striped skirts, structured (but still voluminous) jackets in beautiful color schemes, and one floral printed peplum skirt that has me drooling. Did you notice the adorable owl tee that was underneath a lot of the looks? So cute! And the button down in the first photo? I swear only Burberry can take a simple white button down to a whole new level of chic by added a little volume to the sleeve. They also “made it rain”, so to speak, during the finale to showcase some pretty fab umbrellas and studded, yes studded, leather gloves. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the bow belts! I die.

I told you guys earlier I wouldn’t be able to help showing you J. Crew’s fall 2012 menswear line. I’m totally smitten. Andrew will be wearing some of this whether he likes it or not. The coat in the fourth photo is so amazing, such a great silhouette!
