Wow, I stumbled upon this via Refinery 29′s Pinterest and couldn’t believe my eyes. That cute little outfit was L.L. Bean Signature (seriously)… and they have a whole lot of other cute little outfits I’m super excited to share with you guys. An awful lot of them are on sale too. Get on over there before everyone realizes what I did yesterday!
For those of you that aren’t familiar with the fashion industry, market week (or weeks in most cases) is when your accounts come to NYC to view the new collection and buy into it. The week before market is typically a scramble trying to get things ready. The showroom looks perfect, you know your product, and you’re exhausted. Then comes the actual week(s). For me, market prep was this week and market starts next week. Every single one of my accounts are coming in so from the 14th to the 25th I’m dedicating my life to them basically. Appointments all day, dinners at night, very little sleep and do it over again. What I’m really excited about though is meeting my accounts. I work with very interesting cultures, and I haven’t been able to experience it in person yet. So wish my luck, and hope I find some time to blog! Here is some of my inspiration for market week attire that has to very easily transition from a day in the office to night at a SoHo restaurant.
I have just one thing to say to you all… Adele. I’m totally obsessed with her, not only because her voice is legit one of the greatest I’ve ever heard, but her makeup and hair is always impeccable. Last night she looked stellar, my best dressed for sure. And how cute is she in this photo?

I can’t stop thinking about this Jason Wu for Target collection. It’s coming out the day of the Superbowl so I’m pretty sure between getting pieces of this collection and the Giant’s big win (knock on wood) this will be the best day ever! I’m obsessed with every single piece they’ve shown so far, here are just a few of the absolute favorites.

Coordinating bridesmaids dresses can potentially be a disaster, especially with a lot of different styles and personalities to consider. I’m always envious of weddings where bridesmaids were allowed to pick their own dresses and they seem to magically work with each other, the bride’s gown, and the overall theme. But if weddings like that are out there, it’s surely possible to have a cohesive bridal party while making everyone happy! Here are some of my favorite color coordinated bridesmaids.
If you’re taking my advice and going red with your lips and sparkly with your nails, then your holiday dress should be toned down in color. If you’re looking for a great dress in a solid color or an amazing texture look no further than Anthropologie. These are my absolute favorite holiday dresses that would be perfect for a holiday party at work or a dinner out with your family. Plus, they transition really well to date night after the holidays!
Yellow is one of my favorite wedding colors. I think it sometimes gets a bad rap because of how bright it can be, but touches of yellow can really make the decor on your wedding day pop. The best way to make a yellow wedding beautiful is using different shades. Limit the bright, almost neon, yellows and focus on softer yellows. Using all different shades will give your flowers and decor a ton of texture and dimension!
