One of my favorite Fall 2013 collections is for sure Erin Fetherston. I love all of the lace and the origami-esq elements… and you all know how I feel about the metallic fabrics. YES!

Coach held their Pre-Fall 2013 press previews and I was lucky enough to meet with the lovely PR team and catch a glimpse of some of the gorgeous styles. There are so many great silhouettes and I was specifically blown away by the color. So many great options from updated neutrals like a light camel and blush to really fantastic color blocking (think fuchsia and red) are filling the showroom. And don’t get me started on mens… I’ll probably be snatching up a lot of that too! Here are my three favorites (sorry for the iPhone pics), what do you think?

So far this fall my leather jacket has been my go to. I have paired it with everything from suit pants for market week to a dotted H&M dress to a maxi skirt and v-neck tee. It’s always the best way to keep warm and remain stylish. Here are some of my favorite ways to wear leather:
First of all, it’s starting to get festive here in NYC… Christmas decorations are going up everywhere and people are beginning to holiday shop. It’s my absolute favorite time of year here on the East Coast! The month of December will be filled with drinks under heat lamps in Bryant Park, ice skating in Rockefeller Center, and hot chocolate near the fireplace so I will need some go to pieces to pair with what is currently in my closet. Here are the fall/winter items I’m currently coveting. *This Celine bag being on Overstock is killing me. I wish!
It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these Weekly Fave posts unfortunately. I pretty much owe you the entire month of October (eek). Since it’s already November, we’ll just do a quick recap and then start fresh for November, sound good to you? Good. Here are some of my absolute favorites from the month of October, which happened to be quite the fantastic Pinterest month. Follow me here for more of my daily pinnings (I’m still as obsessed as ever).

Have you all heard about this crazy hurricane headed pretty much directly towards the NY/NJ area? Yeah, that’s comin’ my way! I’ve gotten all sorts of e-mails about how I should be preparing… go buy batteries, groceries, a battery powered radio, etc. Hoboken floods pretty severely, so I have a feeling I’ll be treking through crazy flood waters to get to work. So what do you wear out in a hurricane? This is what you’ll find me in, the parka with the leather sleeves? Oh. My. God. PS: Sandy, you are SO RUDE.
Fall has always been my favorite season. I love when deep colors and lots of layers are finally socially acceptable again. I’m sure you’re not at all surprised that oxblood has been my favorite fall trend this year. Whether it’s a scarf, a blouse, jeans, a skirt, a bag, lips, or nails… oxblood is the perfect way to add a taste of fall to any outfit. Here are some of the items on my wish list for this season. What are yours?
This week was a bit of a whirlwind. With a lot going on personally/professionally it felt like it just flew by but stopping to admire the skyline, especially on Tuesday, was the highlight. The lights coming from the 9/11 site reminded me of the resilience of this country despite all odds.
Some other less important parts of my week were the crisp fall air right in time for a college football game at Giant’s Stadium; casual weekend outfits involving lots of light scarves, chambray, and pops of color; black and gray nails; and the opportunity to get to NYFW for the Amex special presentation of Rachel Zoe’s Spring 2013 line.

Well hello September, fancy meeting you here! Fall approaching means it’s time to pull out the box in the hall closet labeled “fall”. For me, the time in between sundresses and full blown winter jackets must be filled with many, many blazers. Despite my blazer collection including a lot of different colors, I will always go back to basic black on most days. The shape and texture is what will really differentiate those black blazers in your closet. Here are four blazers I’m loving for fall in different fabrics, textures, and shapes.
