Holiday Cheer
December 3, 2012

Over the weekend Andrew and I picked up our Christmas tree! I love Christmas so much and putting on our santa hats and decorating is something I really cherish. I’m very lucky to get the chance to do that every Christmas for the rest of my life! Now it’s time to work on the rest of the apartment. All the candles will be switching to Christmas scents, stockings will be hung, presents will be wrapped (in metallic wrapping paper and twine), flowers will be red, and hot cocoa will be  made on a daily basis. Tis the season!

Glitter Girl
November 28, 2012

If you like fashion and lots of sparkle you’re probably already subscribed to Glitter Guide. It’s my absolute favorite online publication so when they approached me to be featured as a Glitter Girl I jumped at the chance! I had the pleasure of working with Taylor and the amazingly talented Alexandra Frumberg to create my feature. I’m so glad to have the opportunity to let you guys into my home and show you more of my style. Check it out here!

Zara Home
October 10, 2012

The site is looking much better today, huh? We are almost done with the coding and I couldn’t be more excited! Another thing making me excited is Zara Home being available online! As an avid Zara shopper, I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time. London has had Zara Home stores for a while now and I’ve been waiting for one to pop up in NYC, but online is even better. Especially with free shipping in the month of October.

Zara will always be my go to for basic apparel… especially dresses, blazers, and clutches. But now it’s my go to for home decor as well. You can always count on them to have something for everyone. Here are my top 5 Zara Home must haves. Happy shopping!

Brick City
February 7, 2012

The next place I live in will have exposed brick even if I have to lay it myself (seriously, don’t put it past me). I just love the look it gives to a home or apartment, orrrrr a loft. Can I have a loft with one obnoxiously large exposed brick wall, please? Oh and then I can decorate the loft in all white, black, and gray like this post from yesterday!

Also, Every time I watch House Hunters (which is everyday for approx 2-3 hours) it seems like all of the exposed brick is in Chicago. Maybe I have to move to ensure there’s a proper brick wall in my dwelling place.

Shades Of Gray
February 6, 2012

Yes, I spell gray with an A. I want to live in a world filled with white, black, and shades of gray. There is something so calming to me about this color palette. I want to wake up surrounded by clean lines and bright walls with dark accents in the furniture or fixtures. For me, this is as close to perfection as it comes.

It’s A Boy
February 5, 2012

Happy Superbowl Sunday! GO GIANTS! I can’t wait to watch this game sporting my Giant’s tee complete with a huge “CRUUUUUUUUUUUZ” on the back. Yes, I’m that person. I also want to make sure I let you all know I went a little crazy with the Jason Wu for Target collection. By crazy I mean staying up until 3:00am buying online and then getting up at 7:30am to head over to the store. I couldn’t help myself, everything in that collection is absolutely adorable!

Yesterday, I found out via a gender reveal party (best idea ever) that good friends of mine are having a baby boy!!! Naturally, this means that I’m obsessing over how they will decorate the nursery. Here are my favorite nursery ideas… I love how everything is so tiny and cute!

Home Is Where Your Art Is
January 3, 2012

I’ve been slowly buying home pieces from West Elm and Anthropologie just waiting for the day when I will be able to use them again. When I had my own place, my style was confused. My bedroom looked amazing but the rest of the apartment looked so disjointed. I truly believe a home is a direct reflection of your personal style, or your style as a couple. Well… next time, whenever that may be, I’m so ready! Here is some of my home decor inspiration. I have to force myself to only use one image of Bri Emery’s loft but I just want to make sure you all know that if I could clone it and move it to the East Coast it would be mine too!

Deck The Halls
November 30, 2011

It’s holiday decorating time! I couldn’t be more excited! Another one of my favorite holiday traditions is putting up the Christmas lights. I can’t wait to share some images of our lights and decorations inside… especially our mantle! For now, here is some holiday decor inspiration that I absolutely adore.
