To the love of my life; Happy Valentine’s Day. Our first February 14th as an engaged couple, and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for everything you do for me every single day of our lives. Happy Friday! I’ve been a little MIA this week with some craziness at work, but I’m here now! I had the opportunity to stop into the Coach showroom to see the Pre-Fall 2013 collection (which is AMAZING by the way) yesterday. I’ll share some more about that with you guys over the weekend but for now here are my pinterest loves from this week, because let’s be real… one is never too busy for pinning:
I don’t typically do gift guide posts but if you guys are anything like me this year, Thanksgiving really snuck up on you. I can’t believe it’s in two days… which means black Friday is practically here. I know people say it’s ridiculous to wait on line to attribute to the greediness of our country but I have just two words to say to that, BAH HUMBUG! I love giving gifts during the holidays, and it’s fun to wake up in the middle of the night to get someone something special. I try to make a gift guide for myself each year before I go shopping. It’s easier for me to focus when I have a list of people and an idea of what I want to get them. So here is this years:
Five years ago today my amazing fiancé asked me if I would be his girlfriend. Before long we will be celebrating our wedding anniversary, but I’m cherishing today and the fact that for the past five years I’ve been the luckiest woman in the world. I don’t know what I did to deserve such a handsome, funny, and sweet fiancé… but I’m never letting him go. Andrew thank you for being so amazing every single day, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. Let’s get married, okay?
This weekend was the greatest weekend of my life. Last time I talked to you all we had just moved into a new apartment in our dream neighborhood and we were focusing on decorating. Today, things are totally different… we’re engaged! I couldn’t be more excited and overjoyed that I can call Andrew my fiance. He is the perfect man for me and I can’t stop picturing me walking down the aisle and seeing him standing there in his dress blues. Before I start crying let me switch gears and say that my coffee table is already covered in wedding magazines. Let the planning begin!
I can’t believe that I’m not in England celebrating the Diamond Jubilee. It probably seems weird to you that I would say that since you all know me as a New Jersey dweller and New York worker, but half of my heart is always in England. I’ve never felt such an attachment to a place before I went there to study abroad. After living there for a bit (and I lived outside of London in a teeny tiny little dorm room) I was totally obsessed. I love the pace in the city, I love the people and their thoughts on a life/work balance, I love the architecture and the pubs and the wildflowers surrounding castles in the countryside. The Jubilee is such an important time and the patriotism is off the charts. There are Union Jacks everywhere and street fairs all throughout England. This all comes at the perfect time too, since the Olympics will be there before we know it. What I wouldn’t give to be there to see it and celebrate along with everyone.

Happy V-Day lovelies! I love this day of the year, remember on February 1st when I was so excited for it to come? I have an amazing boyfriend to share today with, I just have to wait for him to get home from work first. Meanwhile, I’d like to share a inspiration board I put together. Especially since seeing all of the collections from fashion week, I love the mixture of color and texture. Although all of these items are red they are so unique. The texture of brick, of a thick knit, or of a fully opened bloom make me so happy. Love, love, and more love today!
Happy Superbowl Sunday! GO GIANTS! I can’t wait to watch this game sporting my Giant’s tee complete with a huge “CRUUUUUUUUUUUZ” on the back. Yes, I’m that person. I also want to make sure I let you all know I went a little crazy with the Jason Wu for Target collection. By crazy I mean staying up until 3:00am buying online and then getting up at 7:30am to head over to the store. I couldn’t help myself, everything in that collection is absolutely adorable!
Yesterday, I found out via a gender reveal party (best idea ever) that good friends of mine are having a baby boy!!! Naturally, this means that I’m obsessing over how they will decorate the nursery. Here are my favorite nursery ideas… I love how everything is so tiny and cute!
