Happy Wednesday! We’re halfway through our week of sparkle and I couldn’t be more excited to share some of my favorite wedding inspiration. Not only are these pictures absolutely gorgeous but adding some texture, shine and of course some glitter can only make your day even more fabulous. I’m especially fond of the gold sequined table runner in photo six and the back of that Tadashi Shoji gown in photo two is to die for!
Welcome to day one of an entire week of sparkle! I’m so excited about doing this because January is a perfect time to purge some things from your wardrobe, and life, and bring in fresh new items. For me, I find that your attitude can change just by adding a little sparkle to each day. I’ll explain more about that later so first let’s start with your closet.
Getting dressed everyday can become extremely mundane if you don’t add new pieces every once in a while. I’m a huge fan of basics in blacks, greys, dark greens, and white, but I always add elements that make each outfit special. The easiest way to do this is to add a little sparkle. Who doesn’t want to bring a little joy to their day?! Here are some of my favorite looks that show exactly what I mean.
If you’re taking my advice and going red with your lips and sparkly with your nails, then your holiday dress should be toned down in color. If you’re looking for a great dress in a solid color or an amazing texture look no further than Anthropologie. These are my absolute favorite holiday dresses that would be perfect for a holiday party at work or a dinner out with your family. Plus, they transition really well to date night after the holidays!
I always get excited around the holidays for all the bright and festive nail colors. Typically people will go red, which is what I intended to do today when I walked into the salon. But it seems like every two weeks the Shellac gel color options grow. So, instead of red I went with one coat of white and two coats of gold sparkle. I die!!
